Two teenagers stole an 8-year-old boy's money jar from his sidewalk lemonade stand on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The thieves waited until the boy, Julian Lin, had his back turned and made off with as much as $150 in the jar. Some customers had paid via Venmo, so not all was lost. Neighbors stepped up to help the young entrepreneur, giving him big tips to make up for the theft. Despite the setback, Julian plans to continue his passion for business.
He learned a lesson to be more vigilant but remains optimistic about his future endeavors.
