Seven children were rescued from a Pennsylvania home where they were found living in deplorable conditions. Police discovered three girls, aged 12, 14 and 16, living in a trailer home with feces on the bedroom floors and sheets that had not been washed in weeks. Three other minors—a boy aged 6 and girls aged 4, 8, and 10—were found hiding in a back room of the small home owned by Shane and Crystal Robertson.
Six of the seven children were clinically malnourished, two had low kidney functions, and three were diagnosed with acute viral syndrome. The children were removed and placed in foster care while the Robertsons face felony child endangerment charges.
