With or without Meredith, the long-running primetime drama’s vital stats are excellent.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 19 has exceeded low expectations by bringing back elements that fans loved in the past, including a group of new interns and comedic storylines with Owen and Teddy. The show is now an ensemble piece and even if its main character, Meredith, has a reduced role due to Ellen Pompeo's work schedule, the show remains engaging.
In addition to confirmed returns from Kate Walsh's Addison and Jesse Williams' Jackson, viewers can look forward to potential crossovers with "Station 19" and the development of new interns who represent the future of the show.
