Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi, who has achieved five number one singles since emerging onto the UK charts in 2018, has admitted that worsening mental health issues could lead him to give up his pop career. He said his recent anxiety problems were a "direct symptom" of his fame and travelling the world on tour. Although he feels he can currently balance his mental health with his career, if it gets worse he would consider stopping.
His latest album includes material about his mental health. Metro.co.uk's Lucy Norris said Capaldi's new album was "contently satisfying" but lacked memorability.
